FIT36 Continues to Expand With a New Location Opening in Highlands Ranch

FIT36® is High Intensity Interval Training in 36 Minutes

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo.,   (November 19, 2015) -- FIT36®, the newest passion in fitness training, is opening another studio in the Denver area on Saturday, Nov. 28, bringing the total number of FIT36 locations to three in Denver. Located in Highlands Ranch at 9370 S. Colorado Blvd., Suite A-2, it is the second studio to open in the last two weeks and its developer, WellBiz Brands Inc., is anticipating seven to 10 openings in Denver by the end of 2016. FIT36 is a 36-minute, high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that burns calories faster than other popular workouts, while building strength, athleticism and stamina.

As a Colorado native, Owner Karen Pierce believes this health conscious community will embrace the fast-paced, efficient and intense modern workout. A former project manager for a large commercial general contractor, Pierce was attracted to the FIT36® concept because she loves working out and was inspired to work in the health and wellness industry by her brother, who is a cancer survivor.

"HIIT training is really fun," says Pierce. "It's energetic, perfect for a small group setting and feels like you are part of a community."

FIT36® is done in a group setting with a 12 people to one trainer ratio and a maximum of 24 clients per class. Clients are outfitted with a heart rate training system to monitor their efforts as they progress through 12 different stations, completing each station twice. Experienced personal trainers are there to motivate and correct clients as they go through the 12 circuits, each circuit involving 60 seconds of work and 30 seconds of rest. There are two full-body workout classes that are run within a two-week timeframe.  After two weeks, the circuits completely change to keep the workout interesting and challenging. With a brief warm-up and stretch at the end, clients are typically in and out the door in 45 minutes.

To celebrate the opening at Highlands Ranch, Pierce is offering up to three, free trials and discounted membership rates through Dec. 4. All new clients who sign up for an unlimited membership will also be given a free heart rate monitor during the same time period.

FIT36® is modern training for the modern athlete, incorporating everything from kettle bells, bands and monkey bars to TRX straps, free weights and rowers. Clients use movements they never thought existed. At the same time, movements are self-limiting and resistance-focused to push each member to the max in a safe and efficient way.

"We don't make you do what you can't," says Pierce. "We make you better at what you do."

FIT36® classes are high-energy with motivating music, encouraging trainers and like-minded participants. A FIT36® member is not just a gym-goer.  He or she is passionate about working out and sharing it with others who have the same passion. The group setting acts as a motivator and  drives competitive spirit.

"Our members push one another," says Pierce. "They congratulate each other after each workout. It's like a rite of passage. You have a real appreciation for the people you HIIT with."

FIT36® is open seven days a week with several weekday morning, lunchtime and evening classes.  Saturday and Sunday classes are offered through the morning into the early afternoon.  Individuals are encouraged to sign up online or in person. For more information regarding memberships, visit or call 720-961-1832.
