What You Might Not Know About FIT36

Sure, you’ve seen our studios, and have spotted our FIT36 vehicles cruising down the street.  You keep hearing about how great high intensity interval training is, and your coworkers are super excited about the impressive results they’ve been seeing from their FIT36 sessions.  Perhaps you’ve even tried a few sessions yourself, and you’re wondering if there will be substantial results to back up the hype.

It’s natural to have questions about an innovative and unique exercise program such as FIT36, which is why we wanted to take this opportunity to tackle them.  So here are some things you might not know about FIT36.

  1. You’re ready . . . now.

Sure, our workouts are super challenging.  And yes, uber-fit athletes take our classes to stay in shape and gain strength.  However, there really is no time like the present to come in and get started.  The trainer will keep tabs on your heart rate so that it stays in a healthy zone, and will make sure you are doing each of the exercises properly.  And is your strength and stamina grow, so will the intensity and speed with which you tackle each station.

  1. Oh, yes, our trainers.

Really, when was the last time that you had the attention of a nationally certified trainer to watch how you exercise to make sure you’re executing the movements just right?  And to make sure that you’re challenging yourself enough?  Our sessions offer you a much better trainer-to-participant ratio than many other exercise programs.  Your trainer will be attentive to your personal goals, and can help you tailor each of the twelve sessions to meet those goals.

  1. And speaking of the stations . . .

Each session will be centered around 12 stations.  You do each of them for a minute with a 30-second rest in between.  And then, when you’ve tackled them all, you get the opportunity to show ‘em who’s boss for a second time.  The stations will include movements that improve your cardio fitness, your muscle strength, and your overall stamina.  Whether you exercise every day of the week, or are more of a weekend warrior, our sessions will keep you prepared for whatever physical activities life throws your way, and looking good while doing it.

  1. Feel the burn.

You’ll be surprised at how many calories you can burn in a mere 36 minutes of class.  And, even better, long after you’ve changed out of your sweaty spandex, your body will still be running at a higher metabolic rate, continuing to burn a high number of calories.  Talk about 36 minutes well-spent.

  1.  We don’t want to see you every day.

No offense, we like you and all, but take a breather.  As intense as HIIT is, you should not be hittin’ the studio every day.  We recommend that you come in for a session 2 to 3 days per week, leaving about 48 hours in between sessions.  Your body utilizes this time to repair and heal and grow stronger, more defined muscle tissue.

If you didn’t know HIIT before, we’re hoping you feel a little more clued in now.  We’d love to see you in the studio so you can see a session in action, talk to our trainers, and learn how HIIT might start to be a positive and growing piece of your fitness routine.
