Health and fitness have always been a central part of my life. I grew up playing team and individual sports, and took a special liking to track and field. Throughout college I competed in track as a high jumper, and took on the role of mentoring younger athletes. I graduated from the University of Puget Sound where I received my BA in Psychology and minor in Business. After graduating and working in the corporate world for several years, I decided to immerse myself in the fitness industry and follow my passion for health and wellness. I attended the National Personal Training Institute of Washington State where I studied anatomy, physiology, posture and movement and practical application. Along with my diploma in Personal Training and certificates in Kettlebell and Sling Band training, I am also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. When I am not in the gym you can find me spending time in the mountains hiking and snowboarding, as well as taking classes towards my Masters in Health Promotion.
